On October 12, 2026, the Unipol Forum in Assago hosts RAF - Infinito, the concert retracing the career of one of Italy’s best-loved pop artists. For anyone travelling from outside Milan, the simplest way to enjoy the evening without hassle is to book a stay in a nearby city that’s quieter than the Milan hinterland.
Piacenza, a convenient base for reaching Assago
Piacenza is comfortably connected to Milan by train, with frequent services throughout the day and into the evening, handy if you’re heading home right after the concert. From Milan’s station you can then continue on to Assago using the local transport network — a more relaxed option than trying to find last-minute accommodation right in the hinterland, which often fills up for big events. Staying in Piacenza means enjoying the concert in the evening and returning to a quiet setting, away from the traffic and bustle of Milan’s urban belt.
An apartment made for train travellers
Roma284 is located in Piacenza’s historic centre, just 900 metres (about a 9-minute walk) from the train station. That detail matters a lot on concert days: you step off the train, reach the apartment on foot, and set off again the next day just as easily, with no need for a taxi or extra transport. Self check-in with a smart lock is a further plus if you’re getting back late from the show — you let yourself in without having to coordinate times with anyone.
The apartment also offers a private patio to unwind once you’re back, an equipped kitchen for anyone who prefers a light meal before heading out, 1 Gbit/s fibre WiFi, and pets always stay free of charge. To plan your trip well, check the guide on how to get to Piacenza and discover other upcoming events in the Milan area.
