On October 19, 2026, the Unipol Forum in Assago hosts POOH60 - La nostra storia, the event celebrating sixty years in the career of one of Italy’s most beloved bands. For anyone travelling from outside Milan, booking accommodation ahead of time makes all the difference, especially for a date that draws crowds from across Lombardy and beyond.
Why choose Piacenza as your base
Piacenza is comfortably connected to Milan by train, with frequent services along the line that also serves Assago through the Milan rail network. This makes it a practical alternative to staying directly in the Milan hinterland, which can be busier and less relaxing on the night of a major event. After the concert you can head back at your own pace, sleep somewhere quiet, and enjoy a city that’s easy to navigate instead of getting stuck in the traffic of the urban belt.
An apartment in the heart of the old town
Roma284 is located in Piacenza’s historic centre, just 900 metres (about a 9-minute walk) from the train station. That location really pays off on concert days: you step off the train and reach the apartment without needing a taxi or extra transport, then set off again the next day just as easily. The neighbourhood is quiet yet central, close to bars, restaurants and the pedestrian heart of the city — ideal for a short stay built around an evening event.
The apartment also offers a private patio to unwind after the show, an equipped kitchen for anyone who prefers a light meal before heading out, 1 Gbit/s fibre WiFi, and self check-in with a smart lock, handy if you’re getting back late from the concert. Pets are always welcome free of charge, for anyone travelling with a dog or cat.
